Ring Assignments for the 2021 National Tournament in Orlando, FL are here!

If you (or your child) are competing please take note of when you will be competing. Please record your 1. RING NUMBER and 2. START TIME: Click here – 2021 Orlando National Ring Assignment & Start Times

1. Your ring number is the location of your specific division. Competition day there will be multiple rings running at the same time. You will be able to locate your ring by identifying the ring number you have been assigned. Ring numbers will be displayed up high, right next to your ring.

2. Your competition start time is your assigned start time. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your assigned start time to locate your ring, check in with the black belts running your ring, and warm up. Do not arrive later than your assigned start time. If you arrive late, you may miss your chance to compete. *If you arrive to your ring and there is still a previous competition taking place, do not interrupt the competitors or the black belts running the ring. Please wait patiently near your ring and once the competition is over and the black belts running your ring are free, you may check in with them. 

—> Reminder: If you are registered to compete in forms, self defense (one steps) or contact point sparring, and flag sparring (reminder, flag sparring was an add on to your registration and must have been added on previously if you wanted to flag spar), all will take place in the same ring at the same time.

WHERE: This year’s tournament is held at The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs Resort Area at 1850 Hotel Plaza Boulevard, Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830.

WHEN: Friday, September 3 (high rank testing, instructor certifications, weapons, and seminars) AND Saturday, September 4, 2021 (all general divisions – forms, point sparring, flag sparring, and the board breaking challenge). Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your competition time. Do not arrive late. If you arrive late, you may miss your chance to compete.

WHAT TO WEAR: Your clean, FULL uniform (pants, allstar jacket with patches sewn on, & current belt). Black belts may wear black pants.

WHAT TO BRING: For flag sparring students – you must bring your Allstar flag belt complete with 3 flags. There will be no “borrow flag belts”, if you forget yours you will be unable to compete in flag sparring.

For contact, point sparring students – you must bring/wear all required gear to participate in contact sparring. That is Taekwondo United logo gear in good condition (no ripped, torn, glued or taped gear permitted) – head gear, hand gear, foot gear, chest (optional), SHIN GUARDS, ELBOW PADS, mouth guard, and a CUP for males. Please check your gear bag to ensure you have all the necessary gear prior to leaving for Orlando. Please contact the front desk if you need to make any last minute purchases. For safety reasons, if you are missing any gear or if your gear is not in good condition, you will not be allowed to compete in contact point sparring.

For all students – bring family & friends and your camera for plenty of pictures!
