Dear Allstar Family,
We have received detailed guidance from Palm Beach County leaders with regard to a countywide face covering mandate for visitors to our establishment. As per the order, we are exempt from having to wear a mask while exercising in class and children at day camp are also exempt while social distancing is maintained. We already have social distancing policies in place which will allow for students and campers to participate without a mask if they choose.
Given the exemptions that apply to our activities, it is our position that students over age 18 and the parents of our younger students have the sole right to make the decision as to whether or not a mask is worn. It is not our place to make the health decisions for others. However, there are still some rules that we must abide by in order for our business to be in compliance with the order.
We politely ask that you help by adhering to the rules as follows:
1) Masks must be worn by everyone entering our establishment, unless there is a medical condition or religious reason for not doing so and unless a child is age 2 or younger.
2) Students and campers must wear a mask until they step on the mats, are socially distanced, and begin their activities.
3) At the conclusion of class or camp, masks should be worn again while exiting our facility.
We are following county orders and thank you in advance for your cooperation during this time.
Thank you,
The Lord Family
